Dear Autumn, as your beautiful season slowly comes to a close, it’s so appropriate to wave away your warm charm with a feast full of thanks. Your quiet grace on this celebratory day brings us all together and reminds us just how enriching our lives are through the love of family and friends. As we walked our garden today, collecting these butternut squashes and gathering the ripened peach leaves reminded us of your magical, stunning hues. This photograph is a reflection of your voice. It is for you.
To everyone, Happy Thanksgiving to all. We hope your gatherings today are filled with laughter, love and delicious foods! We’ve definitely planned, as always, a large multi-cultural meal. Today, we’re spending it with half of our family. But for the following years, we’re looking forward to being able to spend it with our other family that lives further away.
Who are you spending your day with today? Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving
I’m with my family, though it has nothing to do with Thanksgiving of course
How beautiful! I’m spending today with family and friends. Thanksgiving is such a beautiful holiday….no presents to buy….just a time to cook for those you love, share time together and just be.
I’m grateful and thankful to have you both in my life.
Lisa
Happy Thanksgiving.
Well for us here in the Caribbean, it is just another working day. No Thanksgiving celebrations here. However, the US embassy is closed and all the US expats would be at home celebrating Thanksgiving in the Caribbean warmth
Happy Thanksgiving to you. I know you’ll be whipping up great things for your feast!
Happy Thanksgiving… Enjoy your celebration…
Poetic and beautiful! Happy Thanksgiving!
Yes, what a lovely piece of writing – who gets credit? Happy Thanksgiving to you both – and isn’t there much to be grateful for? I think of you both as new blessings in my life. Thank you for all you share with us!
Peace and all good,
Dani
How poetic and insightful… a feast to commemorate the end of beautiful autumn… how appropriate! I’m spending this Thanksgiving without my family =( but with my wonderful friends in Oxford and giving away homemade banana bread to everyone I come across with. I hope you two crazy kids have a wonderful Thanksgiving! *hugs* By the way, I’ll be heading back to LA in December, are you going to be around?
The bronzey peach leaves are beautiful.
My gang celebrated Thanksgiving dinner with a Chinese feast at a restaurant in Cleveland’s Chinatown; the joint was mobbed so we obviously weren’t the only ones bucking turkey tradition.
Wishing a healthy and happy to you and yours.
Thanksgiving is a new holiday for me, but I love it – feels like an early Christmas, which works for me.
Whilst I am not a huge turkey fan, cooking for thanksgiving/christmas is always fun – getting up early to prep, family and friends over. Booze. Turkey, stuffing. Always pretty traditional, but this is one meal I won’t mess with – it is great just the way it is.
Great post guys
Happy Thanksgiving! Had a long drive down (traffic and all) but it was worth it! Juicy turkey and fixings left me comatose early last night.
What beautiful squashes! Squashes? Or just Squash? Is that word both singular and plural? Oh, who cares, they’re very pretty.
We spent the day with a small portion of our family, but hope to celebrate with more of them again in the future. Sometime family holidays aren’t all they are cracked up to be… But I hope you had a wonderful day. And please send along any leftover turkey egg rolls.
Everything turned out beautifully. Hope your day was fantastic.
Happy Thanksgiving guys!
Happy belated thanks giving to you too!! : )
Just wanted to tell you how thankful I am to have you both in my life. Friends like you enrich my days and make me feel so lucky. Lots of hugs, love, and thanks. Pets for the pups too

My mom always comes up for Thanksgiving. We also had some Canadian friends over. Thanksgiving almost didn’t happen, as we had a power outtage right in the middle of cooking!

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a quiet day at home with the boys, then joined some friends for Thanksgiving dessert. Hugs to you both, and we hope you had a wonderful day.
